My wife and I have two children taking Suzuki piano lessons. Young students need a foot rest while playing. This keeps their bodies balanced, promotes good posture and provides greater comfort that promotes better learning. When we searched for footrest options, the prices and features were disappointing. After some prototyping we began offering the shelf footrests locally. Our early customer feedback has enabled us to optimize our size, colors and even the levels of adjustment. I am a full-time aerospace program manager who enjoys woodworking. I keep my day-job and work the footrests individually. We have selected the best materials (from the wood, screws, glue, stain and polyurethanes) and hopefully a pleasing pallet of colors. Each foot stool has been made with maximum care and detail.
